PROGRAMMABILITY MADE SIMPLE

Storing a pitch in the HomePlate machine is as easy as 1-2-3.

1	Use the Create-A-Pitch TM controls to select the type of pitch, speed, and direction.
2	Choose the PROGRAM and PITCH numbers where you want to store the pitch.
3	Press STORE.

Using your stored pitch programs is also as easy as 1-2-3.

1	Select the PROGRAM number you want to use.
2	Select REPEAT, SEQUENCE, or RANDOM pitch order.
3	Select AUTOMATIC or SINGLE PITCH ball feed.

If a batter is practicing by himself, he would choose AUTOMATIC ball feed. When the SINGLE PITCH button is pressed only one pitch is thrown, which is useful when a coach wants more time between pitches for instruction. If a batter is having difficulty with a particular pitch, then select REPEAT pitch order to throw that pitch over and over again.

OPTIONAL REMOTE CONTROL

An optional hand-held wired remote control lets you start and stop automatic pitching, or throw one pitch at a time.

There's no secret to what makes great baseball hitters...practice, and lots of it. With Polyball Tutor you can take batting practice anytime because you don't need a lot of space...and you don't need a batting cage.

Polyball Tutor pitches baseball-size plastic polyballs that you can hit with a regular bat, so the hand-eye coordination is exactly the same as hitting baseballs. The recommended pitching distance is 30 to 45 ft., so Polyball Tutor is ideal for indoor use in gymnasiums and basements, as well as backyards.

Polyball Tutor actually accelerates hitting improvement because with polyballs there is no fear of getting hit. Players learn to "hang-in" instead of "bail-out" against tough pitches. That's why so many high school, college, and professional players and teams use Polyball Tutor.

CHALLENGING AND VERSATILE

Polyball Tutor's variable pitching velocity will challenge hitters at all levels. It throws pitches from a gentle toss to 60 MPH. And by moving it closer to the batter you can safely simulate speeds up to 90 MPH. Height and turret (side to side) controls make it easy to adjust pitch placement. The tripod legs also adjust to a lower height for younger batters.

Polyball Tutor's exclusive curve control lets you adjust pitches quickly. A simple turn of the dial lets you select a straight fastball, a mildly breaking slider, or a sharply breaking curveball.

BATTERY-POWERED MODEL

For the utmost in portability the Polyball Tutor-DC model is powered by an internal rechargeable battery. The battery provides up to two hours of practice per charge, and can be recharged up to 1,000 times before replacement. It comes complete with a plug-in charging unit that fully recharges the battery overnight. You can use it in the backyard, or take it to the local park or playing field and never worry about long extension cords or electrical outlets.

FOR SOFTBALL TOO

Adjusting Polyball Tutor's tripod legs to their lower height provides the proper release point for softball pitches. Polyball Tutor can deliver rising fastballs and sinking curves for fast-pitch, or high-arcing pitches for slow-pitch. And as a bonus, softball players who practice hitting against baseball-size polyballs develop a keener hitting eye.

AUTOMATIC BALL FEEDER (Optional)
