BASEBALL/SOFTBALL FIELDING/THROWING/BATTING LESSONS!


        The Glove Doctor began restringing gloves in the 70's @ Kyle's Sports Center, Palm Springs, Ca. original sporting goods store. [1980]The economy and Big Box Sporting Goods stores required a change in direction and he became a manufacturer's rep and celebrity body guard in the Los Angeles area.  He began coaching high school baseball again in 1991 at Redondo High School in Redondo Beach, Ca and was there for 18 years.  An on the job injury[mid 90's] required another change in direction and the Glove Doctor was born in 1996. 

        The State of Calif. provided the money for sewing machines and raw materials.   La Tiera Bootery/Brucker Glove Co. owner Ben Brucker agreed to teach him the tricks of the trade.  Ben was tabbed the original glove doctor by Sports Illustrated in a article about his re-creation of the gloves used in the movies[A LEAGUE OF THERE OWN/FIELD OF DREAMS]. 

       Doc eventually settled on repair as the way to go.  Over the last 15 years the business responded to requests for repair or installation of various types of pitching machines, cages, backstops, fields and his expertize was utilized by numerous programs in the Los Angeles and Orange Counties. 

       At this time we are no longer in the manufacturing or sales of clothing business.   

       Doc semi-retired to the Phoenix area in 2009, but still has tech's in the Los Angeles area and the Inland Empire of Calif., along with his Ariz. Tech.  He is also available as a consultant.  Want to keep foul balls out of the street or neighbors yard, need custom cage netting/padding, we can solve your problem.  School, Business or Back Yard we can help you get your player/s to the next level.

BASEBALL & SOFTBALL FIELDING/HITTING/THROWING LESSONS AVAILABLE!

       Doc was a catcher and played High School and College Baseball in So. Calif. In the 60's and Men's Fastpitch Softball in the 70's/80's.  He has coached all levels & facits of both sports[High School, J.C.] in So. Calif. for 25yrs before coming to Ariz.  He has been working with the Tolleson HS Baseball program the last two years and is available to give lessons at their facility.
